Non-disclosures

1 min read
The trouble with non-disclosures is that you can't talk about what you are currently working on. What a pain. Yes I am doing art but I can't post the designs. Oh well. Will try to post something new of my own stuff soon. Thank you to my DA buddys for watching, commenting and faving.

Last weekend was the Star Wars convention, Celebration V, held, August 12-15 2010 in Florida. I was not in attendance however my presence was there in part, in the 501st TK Stormtrooper helmet project display. For those not in the know. This was a project that included many very talented artists who donated their time and talents for the "Make a Wish Foundation". The 501st Stormtrooper Legion held an auction that raised over 50 thousand dollars for this very worthy cause. Daniel Logan, young Boba Fett, gave myself and my husband, Micheal W. Moore (of HMS Creative Productions) and Darcienne Sparber aka :iconoutlawjacksladyw: a great opportunity to participate in the creation of his Maori Trooper Helmet. This collaboration was not only fun, but also very up lifting. To know that we have helped contribute to make children's wishes come true and bring smiles to their faces makes us all smile.:XD:

I know of one other artist on the DA that participated in this event.
:icongattadonna: I have watched this extremely talented lady's art for years and she never ceases to amaze me.

For more information on the auction go to the 501st TK Project on Facebook or their website 501sttkproject.blogspot.com/.

I wasn't logged in on that day so I missed the big joke. Oh well it wouldn't have bothered me as much as it seems to have bothered everybody else here on the DA. I enjoyed reading the Twilight saga. Not so much for Edward and Bella, please those two need to get a life seriously. Jake was okay, mostly because he's native American, like me. Gotta side with my native sibs. I actually enjoyed reading about the other members of the Cullin clan. Their background stories were far better told than Bella's. Oh well guess I'll never know who's team I was placed on. Too bad there wasn't a team Carlisle or team Aro (Micheal Sheen is hotter as a Lycan) That's it I choose "TEAM LUCIAN!"

Since I posted a new journal.

At least it seems that way to me. It's just a mindless rant so bare with me a moment. I saw a teaser trailer for X-Men Origins: Wolverine and :omg: it looks awesome. Wolverine was never a character I liked much in the original X-Men comics I read as a teenager. He just never appealed to me much except when he was looking after Kitty Pride or Rogue. His soft spot for protecting the teens around him was his only saving grace, for me that is. However that changed when Hugh Jackman began portraying him in the films. Yes it helps when the actor playing the short, very hairy Canadian is neither short nor very hairy. Not only is Hugh Jackman X-TREMELY HOT! He's also an excellent actor.

I think this next film will be a thousand times better than the last X-MEN movie. For one he won't be mooning over Jean Gray (Thank you GOD) and for another, and this is really big for me, Gambit is going to finally be in the film. :excited: GAMBIT! REMY LEBEAU!!!!! be still my beating heart :faint: I was slightly disappointed not to see Josh Holloway playing the roll, but I like the actor they have portraying that most handsome of Cajun rogues. He has a slightly similar look to hunky Mr. Holloway. I understand the need to cast a younger actor for the Cajun  as its more believable to see Anna Paquin as Rogue with Taylor Kitsch's Gambit. I only hope that Gambit is in more than just a short portion of the film.:please::fingerscrossed:  If not  well I read that Taylor Kitsch has been signed for other movies, as Gambit.

MY White German Shepherd, eleven month old Puppy, just graduated today, June 24, 2008. I'm so proud of him. He earned, to my very great surprise, the first place award. I wasn't expecting to do any better than perhaps third place so I was shocked when they called out his name for top dog.  Course he only won by one point, but WOW he won.:faint::excited::clap::clap:
