What can I say I love Luke.
I was working him out on vellum paper a long time ago. Somewhere in the mid 1990's.
There are a few points that I am not happy with (like his nose, his mouth) but then this piece is as finished as it is going to get. The only two things that I really like about this drawing are his expressive eyes and his hair.
I may try it again later.
Sorry if the image is really light. I had to take a digital photo to post this drawing because I don't have a scanner.
Vellum is a premium transparent paper that most graphic artists use for their technical drawings. I love it because it takes graphite really well and it's easy to erase if you make a mistake. Shading on it is wonderful. It's really great for working out an art piece before you place it to standard paper.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. When it comes to community spirit, `Rushy is a shining example. Great likeness. I like his expression
Okay so maybe "like" was a bit of an understatement. I absolutely love to draw this man.
